8/8/2023 0 Comments Qlab osc goThe Music library is convenient, but unfortunately problems can sometimes happen because iTunes and the iOS Music app can change the library at any time without warning. You can read about various ways to import files here in the User Manual: This way your files are kept safe and can't get lost. Then when you create your cues, select your audio from the "Documents" tab in the media picker. If you are using tracks from the Music library on your iPad, we strongly recommend that you instead import your audio files into Go Button directly if at all possible. Thanks for the feedback, and I'm really sorry you've been having trouble with your audio going missing! Changed my review to 5 stars, no problems! UPDATE: I discovered this is an issue with iCloud syncing music libraries and mysteriously deleting files. Other than that complaint, and it is a big one, LOVE this app. I’ve learned to always have a computer running in tandem just in case the problem arises. This is obviously a major issue and one I’m not sure how to solve. The iPad will run one show perfect, sit motionless and uninterrupted and then in the middle of the next show a few hours later the files are gone. However I have had a few instances where audio files will suddenly show up as missing. :)ĭrop us an email at if you have any further questions! ~BL These cues can have durations and most of the other capabilities of audio cues, just without any audio. You can also long-press on the media file of an existing cue and tap "Clear Media File". You tap "Add Cue" then tap "Add New" in the navbar of the Media Picker. I'm happy to report that Go Button does allow you make "empty" cues that don't have an audio file. I’ve come up with a workaround for it by creating a blank audio file and then setting a delay on it for the timer value desired. The only other thing I would like to see possibly in future versions is a non-music queue that can be used as a timer, ie for Intermission or something of the sort. Maybe worth it if that also enabled some other feature like sending of OSC commands to external devices? My only criticism is for the price saving multiple shows seems kind of steep. I’ve considered purchasing the Pro version but have no need for multiple saved shows at this point. The studio is super excited to be able to run show audio without the issues of the past. Very easy to setup, more features in the free version that we even need for this production. Setup the program to run music for a local dance studio’s show after numerous mishaps with laptops / playlists / scratched CDs, etc. Supports DRM-free WAV, AIFF, M4A, AAC, MP3, MOV, 3GP, CAF, and FLAC.Ultra-efficient & low latency playback built on core iOS technologies.Passcode lock your shows to prevent unauthorized edits.OSC control API for remote triggering from QLab or other OSC sources.Remote control with Bluetooth and MIDI.Import your audio files and share shows via AirDrop or the iOS Files app.Adjust volume, pan, speed, and pitch independently for every cue.Auto-stop, fade in, fade out, loop, duck, and more.
